Day 1; 04032013, Monday.

* My day started off with me arriving at Changi Airport Terminal 2 at around 0520am together with my mother and younger brother. I left my house too early and the airport was quite empty when i reached the terminal. Unfortunately, as my brother have to leave for school, they had to leave early.... At 0540am. So yeah, i left Singapore without anyone sending me off!
Later on, i had my last Singapore McDonald's Fillet O'fish breakfast at around 0625am. Had to rush back to the assembly point as we were expected to gather in front of SilkAir's check-in counters at 0630am. Thankfully, I was still on time for assembly! After taking our attendance and checking in our luggage, we entered the departure gantry! Personally, i am quite excited to enter the departure gantry as i have not travelled for years! I can also get to try using my new biometric passport for the first time! (I know this sounds lame but still, I'm quite amazed that passports can be used similarly like our EZ-link cards!)
Apparently, i look very much like a terrorist because the immigration gantry officer requested to check my haversack using the X-ray machine thing. I know... I know my bag is very big but still ;/

Anyways, we then proceeded to the boarding gates we are supposed to go to.
We travelled on the travelator (Is this how you spell it? Oh god, my spelling.) whilst looking out of the windows. We can see the airplanes and airplane pathway thingy (My english is really bad...)!

The following is a short video of the view outside! It really is very very short!

The plane ride was also very enjoyable! Well, for me at the very least. The favourite part of the plane ride is when the plane takes off and lands. When the plane takes off, the plane felt like it was tilted 70 degree upwards and the speed that the plane is going was tremendously fast! It kind of felt like sitting a rolling coaster when it is going upwards. Oh wait. Actually, it reminded me of the rollar coaster in Universal Studios Singapore, Battlestar Galactica: Human. The part when the coaster accelerated upwards is similar to the plane taking off! The thrill was there and it was awesome! However, when the plane was taking off, we have to chew some sweets to reduce the pressure building up in our ears. At the first part of the plane ride, we were served with airplane breakfast. They had 2 variety, Sausage omelette (I think) and Chicken bee hoon. I took the chicken bee hoon because i was kind of hungry. The meal consist of a bread with butter, fruits, a cup of plain water and the main course: there is chicken (taste a bit like malay chicken rendang), curry vegetables and bee hoon. The meal tastes delicious (to me). The next part of the plane ride just involves all of us sleeping!

Before we know it, we have reach Wuhan! We alighted a plane onto the airplane tracks! We then took a bus back to the airport terminal. I was greeted by the immigration officer. He was like: 你好! (Hello) and i suddenly lost my ability to speak or understand chinese for some strange and unknown reasons.. We collected our baggage and headed towards the tour bus and proceeded to deposit our luggage underneath the bus. However, as there are too many luggage, some of us have to place our luggage onto the bus inself as we ran out of space. The bus ride towards Wuchang University of Technology was around 1 hour or more. We spent our time eating and sleeping (again!).

Wuhan

After we reached our destination, we were immediately led to our dorms. We were so shocked when we heard that we are assigned to stay on the highest level of the loft; 5th level. So.. technically we have to climb 6 flight of stairs as the ground floor is not for staying and the first level of the dorm is on the second floor. We climbed up the horrifying stairs with our luggage with the help of the guys. By the time we reached outside our dorm,  we were all cursing and panting heavily! (HAHAHHAAHAH!). I am in the same room as Karize! After unpacking and arranging our stuff, we left to assembly and led around the neighbourhood we are in. Well, to cut thing short, we went to eat dinner! We went to a noodle shop to try their local delicacies! I ate a dish called 牛肉拉面 (Beef Ramen (?))! It taste a bit spicy because they ate A LOT of pepper in it! The noodle was chewy and nice and the beef still taste okay. The soup was warm and nice though.

THE BEEF NOODLEEEEEEEEE.

I brought Vitasoy to quench my thirst too! The noodle is a bit salty in my opinion! By overall, it still taste good~!

VITASOY with cute straw!

After dinner, we head back to our dorms. Did some packing and went to sleep!

* 終わり~ [End]
