* Today we had our lectures as per normal! After lecture, we went to the nearby canteen to eat our lunch! We went to try their pan fried dumplings and they tastes so darn good! We can hardly get dumplings like this in Singapore! The dumplings back in Singapore is not as tasty as Wuhan's! Those dumplings in Wuhan have a much stronger aroma and taste as compared to the dumplings in Singapore! To be honest, I have been eating dumplings since the day I have been in Wuhan! It is so good! You guys should definitely try it! You will not regret it at all!
I also decided to try their 芒果双皮奶 (Mango milk pudding)! It looks kind of dubious on the first glance but it tastes not bad! The milk pudding was soft and bouncy (??) however the mango topping was too strong! It made the entire pudding too sour. But overall, it still tastes acceptable!
We headed to the streets at around 5 to 6pm for our dinner. We didn't really have a proper dinner! Instead, we decided to buy street foods as dinner. Jodie brought these chicken pieces with spices! Personally, I am not really fond of food with spices but the combination of fried chicken with spices is fabulous! I simply love the exquisite taste of the different type of spices which are embedded into the chicken! The chicken is tender on the inside and crispy on the outside! Definitely a must try delicacy in Wuhan!
Before I forgot! On the way back to our hostel after lunch, we spotted a large crowd of students planting tree trunks! I also see several banners being hanged around the planting area saying Plant more trees! Beautify the environment! This really amazed me as they show how much they care for the environment and their strong will to try to do a part in being environmental friendly! This kind of environmental campaigns are hardly seen in Ngee Ann Polytechnic!
We also brought this food which is something similar to Singapore's Roti Prata! Except that they put in different kinds of filling and wrap in using egg prata! IT TASTES SO DARN GOOD! The fillings include pork floss, ham and sausage! It really taste so nice! All the ingredients just blend in so well together with one another!
We also brought this egg and vegetable fried rice for supper! It still taste not bad but I think part of the plastic spoon have like melted in the rice... Which is why I taste this plastic taste in part of the rice...
That is all for today!
